SMALL HOLDER COMMITMENT: KOLO NAFASO

AAK’s Kolo Nafaso direct sourcing program engages almost 300,000 women who collect shea across three West African countries. The program focuses on improving the social, economic and environmental well-being of the shea-collecting women and their communities.

Through long-term direct trading partnerships, interest-free micro-credits and training to support economic development, AAK works to improve health and safety of the communities and also mitigate climate change.
